What would a plan actually include?

What a plan can include

Every plan starts with an assessment by a Naturopathic Doctor (ND), in person in Bradford, at your first visit. From there it may include changes to food and routine, supplements and botanicals, and lab testing. Only the parts that make sense for you go in. You decide together what to try first.

Not sure which one you need?

You don't have to pick. Start from what's going on, in your own words, and the plan follows from there.

What stays the same, whatever the plan.

  • Plain language. You hear what the ND is thinking and why, in words you can follow at home.
  • Nothing for the sake of it. No test, supplement or extra visit unless it adds something to your plan.
  • Per visit, no packages. Nothing to prepay.
  • Alongside your family doctor. With your permission, the ND shares what they find. If something needs a medical doctor or nurse practitioner, the ND tells you plainly and refers you.

Not for emergencies. In an emergency, call 911.

What can a plan include?

Here, a plan may include diet, supplements, lifestyle changes and lab testing. It always starts with an initial consultation, in person in Bradford.

Do I have to use every service?

No. Most plans use only some of them. The ND suggests what fits, and you decide what to try first.

Where do I start?

With the free 10-minute call. It's a conversation about fit, not a consultation. Then the initial consultation, if you'd like to go ahead. How the first visit works

Does insurance cover these services?

Many extended health plans in Ontario cover naturopathic care. OHIP doesn't cover ND visits. Every payment gets an itemized receipt with the ND's registration number. Insurance and receipts
